Hugh runs a Fine Art photography studio in South West London, specialising in reproduction photography, and an archiving service for artists.
Alan and Jane were members of f8 formed in 2012 to focus on Western Counties Photographic Federation and National events. It was very successful and built a national reputation.
NOTE THIS MEETING WILL BE IN THE MAIN HALL (NOT THE CHESSWOOD ROOM) AND WILL COMMENCE AT 19:45.

How to make photographic sense of an extreme travel holiday?
Spending a month travelling through Europe on the railways is not everyone's idea of fun.
But for me it was a joy that was all the sweeter after multiple periods of lockdown and travel restrictions.
Our round of the SCPF interclub PI league held over zoom. Our judge had to withdraw from this competition but I am pleased to say that Malcolm Bull from Steyning camera club has now agreed to judge this on the same day. Further information to follow.

Former Head of Photography at Central St Martins College of Art, London, Graham Murrell is a distinguished photographer.
Learning a variety of different flash techniques in order to achieve unusual and different photographs of wildlife. This presentation charts my learning progress, and will illustrate the many problems, failures, and successes encountered.

An interclub competiton between ourselves and Steyning, Southwick, Littlehampton and Henfield camera clubs.
To be held in the Main Hall at Thakeham Village Hall. Doors open 7pm ready for a 7.30pm start.
The judge will be David Eastley.
Composition - how to construct an image that will work and how to break the rules. Why do some pictures seem to have a natural beauty or “rightness”? How light works in composition and how other elements such as colour, tone and texture all have a place.
