Storrington were the winners at the Mix n Match

Meeting Report

Southwick hosted this Mix n' Match evening between Southwick, Steyning and Storrington Camera Clubs.

An evening of fun was had by all, as Eric Burchell judged whether our images matched the image put up by the leader of each round, and which was the best image offered.

The evening was well attended, and cheers and heckling added to the entertainment. At half time, Storrington were leading by one point, the scores were very close at 24, 23 and 22. By the end of the evening, no one had any idea who might have won, but Storrington managed to stay in the lead, with a final score of 48 points. Steyning came second, and the host club did the honourable thing and came third! Eric commented at the end that Storrington winning this event had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that he was judging at Storrington the following week!

The operational team on the night were Di and Daisy squinting at the images in the dark and selecting one for each round which was promptly projected by John, with Martin generally advising, timekeeping and keeping score! The team were enthusiastically supported from the gallery by Ian and Jean, Peter P, Paul, Jane, Liz and Tim.
