The final meeting of the season began with a prizegiving. Most winners had been announced previously but the award of the Pictall Cup for an outstanding contribution to the club is announced at this time and Janet Brown ARPS was this year's winner. Janet concluded many years on the club committee including time as treasurer and chairman and can always be found helping out at club events. A true stalwart of the club and an example to all. Presentations were also made to Nigel Cherry for his organisation of popular coffee mornings and to Chris West ARPS who completed his second term as chairman.
The business part of the meeting, the AGM, saw George Reekie DPAGB FBPE elected as chairman and Nicky Hall join the committee as most of the former committee were re-elected. Decisions were made to remove the rule requiring competition entries to have been photographed within the previous three years and to have an additional set genre(subject) theme in the competition schedule. An informal members' vote in competitions introduced last year was agreed to be discontinued.
After the meeting discussions took place on events during the Summer leading to the start of the new season in September.
