The English Martyrs Catholic Church Goring is famous for its ceiling - a reproduction of the Sistine Chapel in Rome. The difference is that we are allowed to photograph this one. Anyone who has been to see the real one will know that photography is banned and the Sistine Chapel is more crowded than the Piccadilly Line at South Kensington on a Monday morning.
For those wishing to come along - we have a 45 minute slot from 10.15 to 11.00 on Tuesday 1st October. (After that a party of 40 people arrives). Best to leave your dog at home or in the car.
We will also be given a short talk. There is no charge but donations are welcome.
