Carol and Sue are visiting Mill Hill Nature Reserve, Shoreham next Friday, taking a picnic lunch. If anyone would like to join them, they'll be in the car park there at 10:30. Dogs are welcome.
Below is a map of how to get there (ignore the times, that's from Sue's house). The Reserve is signposted as you turn into Erringham Road. There are no facilities up there, but plenty of trees and shrubs... also spectacular views, wild flower meadows, bugs and butterflies galore and planes coming in to land at Shoreham Airport.
One word of caution. The entrance is width-restricted and on a tight turn. I have a Mazda 3 and only about 3" clearance for my wing mirrors.
