Meet at 10.30 as usual at the Café in Petworth House.
Entry to the café is free of charge, though to go into the House itself you would have to pay or be a member of the National Trust.
The entrance to use is almost adjacent to the Church. The entrance to the café is just inside and there is an information desk. (If you are a National Trust member then you can enter from within the grounds).
Those with mobility problems can be dropped off at the entrance almost adjacent to the church.
Car parking:
There is a large pay and display carpark in the town (150 - 200 yds away). 80pence for 2 hours. There is also limited parking in the town square. National Trust members can park in the NT carpark in the grounds of the house and walk through the grounds to the servants quarters and the cafe. but you must have your NT membership card with you.
The cafe opens at 10.30am so hopefully we will easily find seating together. I was unable to make a booking.
Dogs are not permitted in the cafe or the House but they are allowed in the grounds, including the deer park.
