We meet at The Weald and Down Living Museum Cafe at Singleton and they are expecting us. There is no charge for using the cafe which opens at 09.00 as opposed to the Museum opening at 10-30. If enough of us, minimum 8, want to go into the Museum after coffee they will do a group discount. There is a huge amount more there than when I visited last quite a few years ago.
There is a car park adjacent to the Cafe and since they have a children’s 'thing' scheduled for that day, it would be advisable to get there earlier rather than later. However there is plenty of alternative parking from which you can back up walk up to the Cafe.
If the weather is suitable we can sit outside overlooking the Mill Pond which is pleasant. Dogs are welcome in both the Cafe and the open air museum.
