Amazing, she only enters one, a first time for a print, and scoops the top position with a delightful posterised picture of a frolicking horse – very well done Ruth. Competitions come and go and Ian marches on victorious with his truly excellent pictures – surely the cup is his this year, or is it? And who will challenge Paul for photographer of the year?

The quality of our images continues to be a source of great pleasure - let's see more challenges to the ‘established’ ones in our midst and can we in inter club competitions knock Chichester off their top spot – we came a very close second, amazing for a much smaller photography club.

The proposed visit to the Wildlife Centre has been arranged by Derek for July 9th next year – I’m looking forward to it already, time to start saving up. I’m sure it will be worth the £75 per head and will be a great day out.
